“Be Grateful and always be istiqomah”, that was said by Samsul Arifin (24) a student of Islamic Education, Education and Teacher Training Faculty, State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Palangka Raya. He achieved the first Champion of Adult Tilawah AlQur’an, Man group on MTQ at Pulang Pisau. When he was interviewed by the campusitahnews, Samsul Arifin said “Alhamdulilah, I am gratefull to Allah because I achieve the champion, hopefully in the future; I will be istiqomah loving and practicing the Qur’an.” He said.
Not only him, but also there were some students who had achieved the champions, They were; Nur Selawati ( a student of Adab and Da’wah Faculty), she achieved the second champion of adult Tilawah Qur’an for girl group. From Musabaqah AlQur’an, there were three students who had achieved them, they were; Toto Erwandi (a student of Syaria Faculty), he achieved the second champion of MMQ, Riski (a student of English Education study Program), He achieved the third champion and the last Bella Mutiara Kasih, She achieved the first champion of MMQ for girl and gone to National competition.
Rector of State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Palangka Raya, Dr.Ibnu Elmi A.S, MH said “ I thumps up Samsul Arifin and his friends and I deeply appreciate the participants who actively participated on MTQ 2018”. In addition, Rector of State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Palangka Raya said “representing the academic community of State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Palangka Raya, congratulate on the champions of MTQ 2018 at Pulang Pisau.”
